Project Overview

This project included the installation of accent lighting, under-cabinet and in-cabinet lighting, architectural lighting, and pot lights to enhance ambiance and functionality. The project also required power setups for a fully-equipped bar area, high-end appliances, a wine cellar, electric fireplace, and dimming capabilities to allow for customizable lighting atmospheres.

1. Design & Proposal

Comprehensive assessment of the basement layout to identify optimal lighting and power points based on the homeowner’s preferences.
Working with designers at Suite Spot Design to identify best lighting options.
Preparation of a proposal including cost estimates, timelines, and technical specifications to meet the client’s luxurious aesthetic and functional requirements.

2. Infrastructure Installation

Installation of wiring and circuits to support the new lighting installations and power requirements.
Installation of power outlets specifically for luxury appliances in the bar and wine cellar, ensuring compliance with safety and building codes.
Installation of specialized receptacles for in-cabinet applications.

3. Lighting & Power Installation

Installation of under-cabinet, in-cabinet, and architectural accent lighting to enhance the ambiance and showcase the room’s design features.
Installation of pot lights throughout the basement to provide general illumination and flexibility.
Setup of dimming controls to allow for varied lighting intensities, creating adaptable atmospheres for different occasions.
Integration of the lighting and power elements with the existing electrical infrastructure, ensuring seamless functionality and user control.

The Outcome
